The new camp site at Asta, near Scalloway, is a community project which commenced on site in 2021.

The site has spaces for caravans, motorhomes, tents and includes several ‘wigwam’ camping pods. At the centre is a new amenity building which incorporates a green roof over a simple timber clad kit, providing a sustainable form of construction with minimal visual impact within a rural scenic setting.
